Julie Hurley McIsaac, M.A.
Development Therapist
Ms McIsaac has a Masters degree in Child Development from Tufts University. She is currently working towards her Ph.D. degree from the ICDL Graduate School in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and Developmental Disorders. Julie has worked with clients in the United States and Canada.

Affiliate Staff (2008 - 2010)
Created and implemented cognitive intervention plans for children and families using knowledge of emotional and social development as well as the Thinking Goes to School model (Dr. Harry Wachs and Dr Hans Furth), as practiced at The Interactive Learning Center. Worked with children with diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorders, Asperger Disorder and Nonverbal Learning Disabilities.

The students and staff of Longfields-Davidson Heights Secondary School hosted the 1st Annual Halloween with Derek event. Derek is the 4 year old son of one of the teachers on staff who has been diagnosed with autism. Derek's father will be running in the New York City Marathon on behalf of his son a week after the event. All proceeds for the event will go to support autism programmes in the Ottawa area (Ottawa Children's Treatment Centre and the Portia Learning Centre).
