Senior Therapist Position

The Senior Therapist position is a fundamental in a child's IBI therapy. They are responsible for the development of individualized programs based on empirically proven research methods in the field of Autism. Training and supervising therapists, establishing, building, and maintaining relationships with community professionals, and communication with parents are all vital facets of this role.

The Portia Learning Centre Inc. requires a full time Senior Therapist who possesses their BA, Masters, BCBA or equivalent in experience.

The Senior Therapist must also posses a valid drivers license, have access to a vehicle and a current criminal reference check.

Candidates should be flexible, organized, work well in a team environment, be committed to ongoing professional developmental within the field of Autism, and have excellent communication skills.

Instructor Therapists

We are looking for full-time instructor therapists to join our team! Instructors will provide one-to-one instruction, based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), to children with autism in centre-based and home-based programs. Applicants should have an undergraduate degree or equivalent in psychology or a related field. Experience preferred. Initial and ongoing on-site training will be provided.
